Case ki tafseel yeh hai ke State Bank of Pakistan ke ek afsar Syed Basit Ali ne apne bachche ki paidaish par 30 din ki paternity leave nahi di thi. Is par shikayat karne wale afsar ne Wafaqi Mohtasib se ruju kiya. Federal Mohtasib ne faisla sunate hue State Bank par Rs 5 lakh ka jurmana laga diya hai.
Jurmana ki tafseel:
- Rs 4 lakh shikayat guzar afsar ko muqammal tankhwah ke saath ada kiye jayen ge.
- Rs 1 lakh raqam qaumi khazane mein jama karwai jayegi.
Sath hi Mohtasib ne State Bank ko hukum diya hai ke shikayat guzar afsar ko foran 30 din ki paternity leave di jaye, aur yeh leave Paternity Leave Act 2023 ke mutabiq ho. Is ke ilawa, State Bank ko hidayat ki gayi hai ke woh jald se jald Paternity Leave Act 2023 ke tehat apni official policy banaye taake aagey se har mulazim ko bachche ki paidaish par yeh haq asani se mil sake.
Yeh faisla bohat ahem hai kyun ke ab paternity leave sirf recommendation nahi balki laazmi ho gaya hai. Naye baap ko apne newborn baby aur biwi ke saath waqt guzarne ka poora haq mil raha hai, aur koi bhi institution is se munha nahi mod sakta.
Yeh decision mulki level par aur banks aur doosre idaron ke liye misaal banega. Ab har walid ko 30 din ki paid paternity leave milni chahiye, aur agar nahi di jati to Wafaqi Mohtasib ya relevant forum se shikayat ki ja sakti hai.
