- How Many Centers? 8 Nigehban Dastarkhwan (Maryam ke Mehman) centers in every tehsil across Punjab – meaning thousands of centers will open province-wide.
- Daily Capacity: Around 2,000 rozedars will be served iftari at each center every day – that’s over 16,000 people per tehsil daily!
- What’s in the Iftari? Dates, milk, Rooh Afza, samosas, pakoras, fruit chaat, chicken biryani, salad, and other traditional Pakistani iftari items – everything served with love and respect.
- Purpose: To ease the burden of inflation for fasting people, make them feel cared for, and ensure no one feels alone or hungry in Ramadan.
- CM Maryam Nawaz’s Message: She has said, “No deserving family should feel alone during Ramadan. We stand with the people in their joys and sorrows.” These words have truly touched hearts!
How Will the Program Work?
- Centers will be set up at the tehsil level – in community halls, parks, near mosques, or suitable public places.
