Many of you are asking about FGEI EST jobs 2026 (Elementary School Teacher in Federal Government Educational Institutions – Cantt/Garrison schools).
These are permanent teaching jobs (BPS-14) in federal schools across Pakistan – good salary, respect, and stable career!
Current Update (as of February 2026)
- The 2025 batch (Induction 2025) is ongoing – results are out, interviews done, appointment letters sent.
- No new advertisement for EST 2026 yet on official website (fgei.gov.pk/jobs.php).
- These jobs usually come twice a year: February/March and September.
- Many old ads (like 212 male + 45 female seats) are from 2025 – last date was February 10, 2025 or September 2025.
- Expect announcement soon in February 2026 – check official site often!
- Warning: Ignore fake/old ads on social media. Only trust fgei.gov.pk or induction.fgei.gov.pk.
Why Prepare Now?
- When announced, closing date comes fast (sometimes 8-10 days).
- Test happens 15-30 days after closing – very short prep time!
- Start today – don’t wait for ad. Many miss because of late start.
Eligibility (Based on Past Ads – Expect Similar)
- Education: 16 years (Bachelor’s/Master’s in any subject – BS/MA/MSc etc.).
- No B.Ed required!
- Division/Grade: At least 2nd Division or Grade C.
- Age: 18-30 years (relaxation possible).
- Both male and female can apply – seats with provincial quota (Punjab max, then others).
- Apply online via induction.fgei.gov.pk when ad comes.
Test Pattern & Syllabus (100 Marks MCQs – Same Every Time)
Paper is general – no subject from your degree matters.
- English: 20% (Grammar, tenses, active/passive, synonyms, antonyms, prepositions, etc.)
- Pakistan Studies: 20% (History 1526-1947, post-partition, constitution, personalities)
- Mathematics: 20% (Basic arithmetic, algebra, percentage, ratio, geometry)
- General Science: 20% (Human body, diseases, physics laws, solar system, inventions, elements)
- Pedagogy/General Knowledge: 20% (Teaching methods, classroom management, education psychology, curriculum, Pakistan education policies)

Salary Expectation
- BPS-14: Starting around 50,000–70,000 PKR + allowances (good for fresh teachers).

- Visit induction.fgei.gov.pk
- Register with CNIC, email, mobile.
- Fill form, upload docs (degrees, CNIC, photo).
- Submit before last date.
- Prepare for written test, then interview.
