- Current status of Click Date for seasonal & permanent visas (2026 quota)

1. Click Date Status – Italy 2026 Visa Quota
Italy opened a 3-year quota (2026–2028) of approximately 5 lakh visas. This year (2026) total quota is around 164,850 visas.
Seasonal Visas (Click Date Already Done):
- 12 January 2026 – Agriculture & related seasonal work (Lavoro Stagionale Agricoltura) – Click Date done, papers already started coming out (within 2025 days after filing).
- 9 February 2026 – Tourism & hospitality seasonal work (Lavoro Stagionale nel Settore Turistico Alberghiero) – Click Date done, papers will start coming soon.
Permanent / Non-Seasonal Visas (Click Date Coming):
- 16 February 2026 (9:00 AM) – Permanent non-seasonal work (Lavoro Subordinato Non Stagionale Settore Commercio e Meccanica) – Click Date starts tomorrow.
- 17 & 18 February 2026 – Domestic & care work (Assistenza Familiare e Badanti) – 13,600 quota.
Important Notes:
- Agents are ready – faster filing = higher chance of selection
- Papers usually come out 2 months after Click Date (so April 2026 onwards for permanent visas)
- District-wise quota list (Lecce, Padua, etc.) will come 1–2 weeks after Click Date ends – I will update you when it releases
- Take receipt from your agent – check name, timing, district – no mistakes allowed
2. Free Italian Language Course + Certificate (A1 & A2) – Golden Opportunity
If you are new in Italy and don’t know Italian language – this is huge news!
Italian Government is running FREE language classes in every Comune (municipality / city council).
- Classes: 2 hours twice a week (example: Tuesday & Thursday)
- Duration: 70 hours for A1 level
- After 70 hours → small exam → you get A1 certificate
- Then continue for A2 level (more hours + exam) → A2 certificate
Why is this certificate very important?
- After 5 years in Italy → you need A2 certificate to apply for Carta di Soggiorno (10-year residency permit)
- Without A2 → renewal becomes difficult
- Also helps in job search & daily life
How to join?
- Go to your local Comune (municipality office)
- Say: “Voglio imparare l’italiano e prendere il certificato A1/A2”
- They will tell you where classes are running in your area
- Classes already started in many places – join now!

3. Can You Come to Italy Without Money & Without Agent? (Direct Way?)
Many people message and comment: “Bhai, kya Italy bina paison aur bina agent ke aa sakte hain? Koi side ya direct way hai?”
Reality (2026):
- Bina agent ke possible nahi hai (not possible without agent)
- Why? You are in your home country. You don’t know any Italian employer personally who needs workers.
- Italian government system requires:
- Employer files demand in Italy
- Quota opens → Click Date
- Agent submits your form during Click Date
- No public website exists where you can directly apply from abroad without agent
- Agents charge money because they handle filing during Click Date window
- If you personally know someone in Italy who can file for you – possible (but rare)
Bottom Line:
- For 2026 quota – already filled (Oct–Dec 2025)
- Next quota (2027) will open later – same process
- Without agent or connection in Italy → almost impossible right now
