Latest important update for all regular BISP (Benazir Income Support Programme) beneficiaries!
The February 2026 quarterly installment of Rs 14,500 that was expected to start from 18 February has been temporarily paused for regular beneficiaries. This news is both good and bad – let me explain clearly and simply.
Good News First
- If you are a regular beneficiary and have already received Rs 13,500 (or previous installments) in your account:
- Your Rs 14,500 installment is not cancelled – it is only delayed.
- You will definitely get it before Eid-ul-Fitr 2026 (most likely in the first week of March 2026).
- Once the current distribution rush ends, your full pending + new installment will come.
- Those who received Rs 13,500 earlier but could not collect it yet:
- You will get both the pending Rs 13,500 + the new Rs 14,500 soon.
- Children’s Education Wazifa and other regular payments are also continuing normally for most people.
Why the Rs 14,500 Installment Is Delayed?
- The Punjab Government has started massive Ramzan Nigehban Card distribution (Rs 10,000 per family).
- Almost 12 lakh cards have already been sent to district administrations.
- Door-to-door delivery is in full swing and will finish by 1 March 2026.
- Because of this huge Ramzan package work, the BISP Rs 14,500 payment has been temporarily paused so the system can handle both programs smoothly.
This delay is not permanent – just a short wait of a few weeks.
What Should You Do Now?
- Don’t worry – your money is safe and will come soon.
- Keep checking your status regularly:
- SMS: Send your 13-digit CNIC to 8171
- Online: https://8171.pass.gov.pk (enter CNIC)
- Helpline: 0800-26477 (toll-free)
- If your payment is stopped or shows any code (like BVS code):
- Wait 5–7 days and try collecting again – many codes clear automatically.
- Do not pay any extra money to retailers.
- Wallet SIM / New Account Update
- February installment is coming through retailers/shops (not wallet yet).
- Official BISP wallet accounts will become active from March–April 2026.
- Keep your SIM active (insert once every 7–15 days + small balance).
- Survey (NSER Update)
- If your payment is stopped because of survey:
- New survey will reopen after Eid-ul-Fitr 2026 (March–April).
- Visit BISP/NSER office after Eid with CNIC – survey is free.
- After survey, all pending + new payments restart.

Final Words
